I saw this nifty fire ring while on a camping trip - can't remember where - and thought it would be nice to document.

It has a number of nice features and would be easy to fabricate on a home shop. Unfortunately it didn't have a name tag so I can't point to a commercial product.

This photo shows the clever grate mount, making it easy to flip the grate out of the way and to position it at whatever height over the fire is desired. It also shows the extended handle, long enough not to get hot even with a big fire.
