These photos are of the old Tellico Plains town.  This town has changed little since I was a kid.  It is a lovely little town and a nice place to live. 

It's near Madisonville and not that far from Knoxville, TN.  A lovely mountain environment and yet not too far from the big cities.

Tallent Hardware has been here since Noah's water receeded.

Some of the many old downtown houses.  Several of these have been renovated into commercial buildings.

The old Stokely Cannery.  Back in the good old days, the Plains were farmed for vegetables.  They were canned in this old building.  Much of the Plains have been developed.  This building is now waiting for a new use.
